Apple season has left a mark on our house this year. That is...teeth marks, that don't exactly finish the apple and then leave it in an undisclosed location for future discovery. Almost every day I gather a selection of "natures finest half eaten apples", chop up what is left and feed them to the rest of the scavengers, some whose loose teeth cannot handle an apple at the moment....
A desperate moment came this evening when she wouldn't give up the apple to go in the shower. So, I let her just chew away, water cascading down over the red skin and all. What could it hurt, if she at least finished it!
(couldn't publicly display that pict..but it was cute)
Its what we do to save the earth.
(She tried out the chompers on this baby punkin. Not an apple! Payback :o)
so adorable!
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing that she tried to bite the pumpkin. CUTEST little thing.
Love you header photo! I love how Janelle is looking so admiringly at her big sisters. So cute! What a good idea to let the girl and the apple get clean!
ReplyDeleteLove the boxed in look! Very nice. I use to find half eaten apples all over my house as well. Not so much now.

ReplyDeletei guess you're having lots of fruit salad! :) too bad i can't say i taught her that trick.. she must have gotten it from my genes. sarah is opposed to most fruits and veggies these days, unless i do a sneak attack before she knows any better and realizes, oh yeah, i really DO like this stuff
