Tree shopping

We set out in December to find a fabulous tree for our new house...didn't necessarily know the hot spots but tried out a few places we'd seen. SUPER expensive..maybe our expectations were out of wack, but $70 a tree was not what we were willing to spend. Especially when our yard is already full of trees exactly like these, (Jared of course opted to chop one of those down..I steered him otherwise) So after trying 4 different places, and feeling ripped off, we went home, treeless. Needing to run to Home Depot (for the 1000th time), later that evening, Jared I made a date out of it. We happend to see they had trees...sooo our home was Christmased this year a huge, 8ft home depot special...$34 bucks! Not a fancy shop with santa standups and picture spots, no hot cider under Christmas lights while kids looked at pet bunnies in cages, but totally worthwhile and simple. It lasted us the entire season and looked perfect!

I really am getting tired of pine needles here though, they are never seem to go away. Factor of the northwest I guess.

  1. We used to always get our trees at Home Depot! They have good tress and great prices! You'd think with all of the pine trees in the NW you'd have better prices!
